Powerful Patterns 9: The Negative Powers of 2
There are many numerical patterns to find in mathematics! The one on this Web page is about the negative powers of 2.
Observe the negative powers of 2 in decimals below:
2-1 = 0.5
2-2 = 0.25
2-3 = 0.125
2-4 = 0.0625
2-5 = 0.03125
2-6 = 0.015625
2-7 = 0.0078125

There's a function for this pattern & have you noticed that each decimal is a power of 5 divided by a power of 10?
2-n = 5n/10n

Speaking of patterns, maybe you already seen some other numerical math patterns that other mathematicians already discovered & published! (Besides me or you; any open-minded person can be a great mathematician, like me!)
